I agree that it is a problem printing out lists from mingle and retaining the clarity of the wonderful mingle UI, so I always use some capture software like snagit to capture the mingle page and then paste into word, often having to go to next page in mingle and repeating the process until the list was captured. This is also useful way to extract only certain graphs and tables that are needed for a particular report.
Another way to get a list printed is to export the list to excel and format it there, where it is easier to remove unwanted columns, then print.

The ideal would be for business people to collaborate directly in mingle on the backlog, e.g. have a meeting with mingle projected for everyone to go through together, but not all businesses are at that stage for all projects.

So there is always a need to print and print improvements for formatting should be added to the backlog list, and then the backlog should be printed to ascertain the priority...

    Hi Ian

the problem is that some of the users who form a user group of representatives are external to the company and therefore will not have access to our system and therefore we cannot give them access to mingle.

Is the print of the list just not working correctly ie: is this a bug? It doesn't make any sense to me why it prints out an individual story correctly but as a collection of stories cannot format it.

    cheers

    Hi Gary

I believe the problem printing a well formatted list  is a weakness of mingle, yes, so perhaps a Thoughtworker can pick up this thread and comment on any plans for improving printing? Meanwhile I would opt for the 'Export to spreadsheet' approach  to get the story list to non mingle users.
