I had a view that contained filters for properties I wanted to hide on a card. I could not hide the property without deleting the view (that I could tell). It seemed like a bug to me since hiding/showing values doesn't affect the actual data being filtered.

This is behaving as we expect. Hidden properties are not shown in the filters and so you can't create a favorite using a filter for a hidden property. Therefore, any existing property that is used in the interactive filter and then saved as favorite can not be made hidden unless the favorite is removed.
You can create a MQL filter with a hidden property and save this as a favorite. This might be a good alternative for you if you wish to have a favorite with a hidden property in the query.

I was using MQL for this favorite and it deleted that one when I made the property hidden.

In that case that does seem undesirable. I will add this to the backlog to see if we can fix this.
Thanks for letting us know.
