What is Mingle in the cloud?
This is our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering of Mingle. We think your tools should make collaboration easy. We also think your tools should be easy to get. That’s why Mingle is now available in the cloud. How easy is that? Create your first project now.
Why are you offering Mingle as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)?
There are now many teams who are comfortable running their tools and projects in the cloud. We want to make collaboration easy for those teams and that’s why we’ve made Mingle available in the cloud. In addition our customers want access to the latest features as soon as they’re available. Running Mingle in the cloud means that we can give customers our most powerful features as soon as they’re ready.
For those teams who still prefer to keep their project data on their own network we will still support Mingle onsite.
When will Mingle in the cloud be available?
What is Mingle Onsite?
This option is good for those companies that want to install, manage and maintain their Mingle installation behind their corporate firewall. If this is something you need, let's have a conversation.
Are Mingle Onsite and Mingle in the cloud the same?
Yes, for most purposes current Mingle that is hosted Onsite is the same as Mingle in the cloud.
There is a minor difference in the response on attachment API (see details on our online help).
There are also some features that are currently not available on Mingle in the cloud (see a full list below).
N.B. ThoughtWorks Studios Lifecycle Policy does not apply to Mingle in the cloud.

Can I buy online with a credit card?
No, not yet. If you would like to purchase Mingle before or during your evaluation please contact email@example.com.
Can I evaluate Mingle for free, before purchasing it?
Yes! Please do. You can try Mingle in the cloud from our website.
How long does it take to set up my trial?
After signing up, your trial will be provisioned within 30 seconds in your browser window so you can get started immediately. All you'll have to do is set a password and then login!

I am an existing Mingle customer using Mingle hosted onsite. What does this mean for me?
We will continue to support and offer Mingle Onsite if this remains your preference. If you want to understand more or use Mingle in the cloud then please contact your Sales rep or firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am an existing Mingle customer whose data is hosted by ThoughtWorks managed services. What does this mean for me?
We will continue to support your needs. In the short term there will be no impact, but in the longer term we may want to migrate you to Mingle in the cloud. We will contact you directly to understand all your needs, arrange the migration and discuss timing with you. Rest assured nothing will happen until we are all comfortable.

Will it cost to migrate to the new offering?
In general we do not expect there to be a migration cost. However, if costs are exceptional, we may need to charge to cover extreme expenses. Any migration costs will be made clear to you in advance.
