    Hi Dave,

We haven't tested Go(server or agent) extensively on OpenJDK. We highly recomend using sun-java for Go. We haven't seen any kernel panic issues with Go yet so we'll need to take a closer look at logs. Can you please send us Go-server/Go-agent log, console dump of the process(if available), dmesg dump and /var/log/messages from the relevant machine(s)?

    Some questions:
    - did you see kernel panic on server or agent?(or both?)
    - was it Aieee or Oops?
    - are you using a locally built kernel? Debian Lenny was released and is known to be stable with 2.6.26-*. can you please downgrade to 2.6.26 and try again?

We actually ran into the same issue. After using go-server intensively for a while, the go-server started throwing Kernel Panic and we could not ssh to the box to debug the issue.

    We are using:

    Ubuntu 13.10 x64

    # java -version
    java version "1.7.0_55"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.4.7) (7u55-2.4.7-1ubuntu1~0.13.10.1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.51-b03, mixed mode)

    Go Version: 14.1.0(18882-d0272e1d227b5e)
