Hi Greg,
We do support Windows 2008 64 bit. Go is actually architecture independent, so you should not face any architecture issues.
We have verified go-server-2.1.0-11943 works well(installs cleanly and boots up successfully) on Windows 2008 64 bit.
Can you please give us more details on specific issue(s) you have been facing?
Regards,
Janmejay
Thanks Janmejay. No installation issues. Simply needed ThoughtWorks to state that Windows 2008 is supported. Browsing your site I was was not able to find system requirements for Windows 2008. This is important for our network engineers who support our production data centers and could have effected any potential purchase of your software. I would also like to see that Windows 2008 R2 64bit is supported You may want to consider updating your help page to include the Windows systems that GO supports. See http://www.thoughtworks-studios.com/go/2.1/help/system_requirements.html
Thanks Greg.
We have added a task to update our documentation to reflect this. This will be available as part of the Go 2.2 release due in April 2011.
Regards,
Rajesh
