As you know Java is one of the system requirements for Go and as of 12.4 we support both Oracle and OpenJDK versions 6 and above. But Oracle Java 6 went End Of Life on Feb 2013 and it is recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of Java.
While Go will continue to support Java 6 for the time being we recommend that all Go Server and Go Agent installations move to Java 7.
