    We're closing in. Does your password have any special characters in it? In particular I have had problems with @ inside passwords on occasion.

    blah. So I just read here you need to restart the server for it to take effect.

    Good eye. I should have thought of that. :-)

    Let me know what you think of the Add-In. There are some quirks that are probably worth addressing.

    I'm actually installing this for our users, however, how can I test this? Is there something generic I can do? I hit Fetch cards and a query windows comes up. What's something generic I can type in?

    Nevermind. Figured it out;

    Select number, name, owner

    Thank you for your time,

    Consult the MQL Reference in the Mingle doc for the full details.

    I have just started using the Mingle Add-In for Excel and it is working well.

    Is there any way I can trigger the queries from VBA code?

    Hi Ken,

    Unfortunately, the plugin will not accept queries from VBA at the moment.

    Regards,

    Leo

    Hi,

    Using Excel add in I am trying to run the following query one of the mingle fields containing special character '&' in its values. While trying to search records with this value works pretty well on mingle directly, the excel add in doesnt accept special characters. Can you suggest any solution for this?

    eg: select number, name, release where release = 'cats&dogs'

    @Prateek Not sure why your comment just now showed up in my inbox, but in case you haven't found an answer you can do -- eg: select number, name, release where release = 'cats&dogs'  :eg: select number, name, release where release in (cats, dogs):
