    Hi Justin,

the solution you are proposing is pretty clear but it would be helpful to understand the actual use case/problem: what do you do with those "script to process the changes"? when do they run? any details will help.

    Thanks in advance

    Marco

Im currently creating an automatic signing of PowerShell scripts so it can be used for a corp repo. the script files are managed by SVN and when they are merged with the trunk a Go job kicks off a pipeline that reads the feeds list to see what was added and process it. Im of the automation guy at work but the Build guy agreed with me and mentioned it more for looking at what happened in the past and knowing what was added to that folder, not only that there is a folder with "stuff" that was added to the build.

importance of this is obvious low due to its use, but I would imagine it should be fairly easy?

    Hi Justin,

Thanks for explaining the use case to us. You are right, svn does give the information ie. the path type (file or dir ) . This information is currently not stored by Go. We will get this added to our backlog with the suggested priority.

Until then, the processing code needs to explicitly check if the file mentioned in the list of modifications is indeed a file or a directory before proceeding.

    Thanks,

    Jyoti

The real problem came when I told Go not to pull the materials and tried to process them myself.  again, fairly rare situation. I'll end up posting my final soltuion.

    Thanks

    Justin
