    Hi Paul,

thanks for this. Could you help us understand the use case you've got in mind? The solution you propose is clear, we would like to understand what brings you to this specific solution.

    Thanks again

    Marco

I have a set up with  pipelines

    1) Build - Test - Deploy to CI

    2) Deploy to QA (using Build Artifacts from pipeline 1)

    3) Deploy to Live (using Build Artifacts from pipeline 1)

The version to deploy to QA or Live or usually specific versions. Dev's frequently check in, but it might be v4 where a feature is complete. Devs will continue checking in v5, v,6 etc. We want to pull v4 into QA.

On the Pipeline summary page, this is possible from the Trigger with options button.

On the pipeline history page there is just the big purple arrow which always takes latest. If you're on this screen, you then have to go back to the summary page to press the Options button.

As an aside, it would be nice if there was an option to trigger a pipeline ALWAYS with options - to cause the deployer to think about the version they select.

    Hi Paul,

While reviewing your use case,  we are wondering if Environments tab is better suited for your needs.  If your pipeline is part of an Environment,  by clicking on the Environments tab, you can see the pipeline with an additional information, which is the materials that have changed since the last deployment.  You can then click on the button to deploy specific revisions

    Cheers,

    Raghuram

Not really, the problem is if you're on the History screen, its all too easy to press the big purple button and take the latest version, rather than a specific version.
